Pelotero

Pelotero is our submission to Global Game Jam 2025

It is a shoot ‘em up with waves of child enemies where you play as Mackenzie, a fearless warrior girl with the duty to defeat the tyranny of the king of Pelotero. This ruthless monarch has cruelly taken all the balls from the ball pit while he keeps mocking you from his bubble throne.

The objective of the game is to survive and fight off an increasing number of child soldiers sent by the king in a continuous session of 10 waves to defend his monarchy. 

The game is a reference to Latinoamerican childhood easter eggs.
